A creative brief gives a campaign team a shared starting point. It should make the work’s purpose, audience and constraints clear before design begins. It is not a substitute for strategy or a guarantee of campaign performance; it is a practical agreement about what is being made and how the team will judge whether it meets the assignment.
Define The Audience And Objective
Describe the audience in terms that help creative decisions: what they need to know, what they may misunderstand and what action is appropriate. Avoid vague segments such as “everyone online.” State the business objective and the audience response the campaign is intended to support. Keep the distinction between an intended response and a proven outcome clear.

Write A Single Message And Its Support
State the one idea that should remain recognizable across the campaign. Add the evidence that makes the message credible: approved product details, source records, company facts or substantiated proof. List claims that require approval and phrases the creative team must avoid. Where an offer or partnership is involved, provide accurate terms and disclosure requirements.
Specify Deliverables And Review Conditions

List formats, dimensions, placements, languages, accessibility needs, due dates and final file types. Identify who reviews strategy, subject facts, brand identity, legal or compliance-sensitive material, and production quality. A useful review sequence gathers related feedback together rather than sending a design through disconnected rounds.
For digital graphics, include text alternatives where needed and check that text remains readable. WCAG’s contrast guidance sets minimum contrast criteria for text; the exact requirement depends on text size and context. A brief should ask for an accessibility check, then a human should inspect the real asset at its actual display size.

Sporteology’s graphic design and digital marketing pages describe related capabilities. A campaign brief should still be tailored to the project instead of copied unchanged between clients.
